MANUFACTURE WITH CONFIDENCE

Partnering with Generation Nutra comes with many assurances. To begin, your supplements will be manufactured in a 120,000 sqft NSF GMP Registered FDA-Approved facility with the ability to manufacturer your products:

FDA Registered Facility

The FDA regulates both finished dietary supplement products and dietary ingredients. The FDA regulates supplements under a different set of regulations than those covering “conventional” foods and drug products under the dietary Supplement Health & Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA). The Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act defines a dietary ingredient as a vitamin, mineral, herb or other botanical and or amino acid.

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)

GMP is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. It is designed to minimize the risks involved in any nutraceutical production that cannot be eliminated through testing the final product. GMP covers all aspects of production from the starting materials, premises, and equipment to training all staff. Detailed, written procedures are essential for each process that could affect the quality of the finished product. Generation Nutra has quality systems to provide documented proof that correct procedures are consistently followed at each step in the manufacturing process every time that product is made.

Organic Certified

USDA certified organic products have strict production and labeling requirements.  The U.S. organic industry is regulated by the National Organic Program (NOP), part of USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service.  Certified organic products are produced without excluded methods such as genetic engineering or genetically modified organisms (GMOs).  The organic standards are designed to allow natural substances in organic farming while prohibiting synthetic substances.

Kosher Certified

The Orthodox Union’s Kosher Division headed by CEO Menachem Genack, is the world’s largest kosher certification agency. As of 2017, it supervises more than 800,000 products in 8,500 plants in 100 different countries. 200,000 of these products are found in the US. It employs 886 rabbinic field representatives, mashgichim in Hebrew, and about 50 rabbinic coordinators who serve as account executives for OU-certified companies; they are supplemented by a roster of ingredient specialists, flavor analysts, and other support staff. The supervision process involves sending a mashgiach to the production facility to ensure that the product complies with halacha (Jewish law). The mashgiach supervises both the ingredients and the production process.

Halal Certified

IFANCA Halal Certification has religious advisors/consultants to advice in matters related to proper procedures and ingredient approval for a religious point of view. The religious advisors are aided by scientific knowledge and technology so that they can give sound opinions and specific guidelines. Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America keeps a detailed account and data on production procedures including receiving and storage of raw materials, processing, packaging, labeling, transportation and storage of finished products. Records need to be maintained for the inspector’s audits.

     UL Certified

This third-party certification provides information that guarantees compliance to regulatory and purchase specifications, to apply risk management principles and to determine general suitability of products, systems, and processes. UL accredited third-party certification provides all stakeholders—industry regulators, users, and the general public—assurance that a certified product, material, component, or service complies with the technical requirements of the referenced standard. The UL certification process is specific to the product, process, or service being certified and the type of certification, but generally follows seven steps:

    • Application and information submission
    • Product evaluation
    • Product testing in lab
    • Manufacturing facility inspection, product confirmation, and product sampling
    • Test results review and acceptance
    • Contract signed and products listed
    • Annual plant inspection and retesting
